Aspect

According to Article 15 of the decree creating the Autonomous Sinking Fund, the resources of the Autonomous Sinking Fund are constituted by:

  • Public capital endowment;
  • Budget allocations;
  • Pre-authorized debits;
  • Proceeds from public borrowing;
  • Funds deposited by the Treasury;
  • Investment income;
  • Miscellaneous products and recipes. . 


The Article 16 specifies that Debt service is provided by budgetary allocations and other resources of the Autonomous Sinking Fund. The Autonomous Sinking Fund also makes funds available to the Government to finance some of its operations under the terms and conditions established by agreement between the parties.

The Articles 18 , 19 , 20 , 21 of the decree creating the Autonomous Sinking Fund define the prerogatives on the Miscellaneous Provisions:

Article 18 : Within the framework of its operations, the Autonomous Sinking Fund collaborates with the National Headquarters of the Bank for Central African States (BEAC) (BEAC) in the same way as the Banks.

Article 19 : The Autonomous Sinking Fund may grant loans to the State.

Article 20 : The Autonomous Sinking Fund may make investments outside the Republic of Cameroon in accordance with the regulations in force.

Article 21 : The Minister of Finance is responsible for the application of this Decree, which will be registered and published in the Official Gazette in French and in English.
